Equality policy

  • The Football Club is responsible for setting the values and standards throughout the club. Football is a game to be enjoyed by everyone who wants to participate in it.

  • We aim to eliminate discrimination of a person’s race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or belief, ability or disability, sexual orientation and to encourage equal opportunities.

  • Even though we are an all-girls football club, we will never discriminate on the grounds of gender. We will always be supportive and help find the child a boy’s team that we have good links with and uphold the same values as ourselves.

  • The Football Club will not tolerate the harassment, bullying, victimisation or abuse of an individual. This includes sexual or racially based harassment or other discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal.

  • The Football Club will work to ensure none of this happens and such behaviour is met with appropriate actions.

  • The Football Club is committed implementing this policy and will look at developing an on-going awareness scheme through training, events or activities to help eradicate discrimination and promote equality.

  • The Football Club commits itself to the immediate investigation of any claims brought to its attention and sanctions are imposed as appropriate.

  • All Club officers, parents and players are fully supportive of this policy and are responsible for implementing it.
